Curious if anyone has found good history books for older kids similar to what Tuttle Twins have made? As far as I know, there is nothing really out there. We were pretty happy with the Tuttle Twins books but they are more for younger 3rd-5th grade. Thanks!

Raising Children a year agoFor anyone interested – I found a great lead for getting a passport for my son! I had previously posted asking for assistance or recommendations getting a passport for a wild pregnancy/freebirth little babe that had zero documentation. He is now 15 months and we want to ensure we are able to travel and set him up in a trust.

Thanks so much for sharing this, Cheyenne! I am curious to hear how it all goes as you move through the process. My daughters are 7 & 10 and do have birth certificates and SSNs because I didn’t know about any of this when they were born. I have been debating what to do for them as far as passports go because we want to start traveling…

Good Evening Michelle and Mike,
Thank you both for your quick help and for your words of congratulations. We are certainly looking forward to becoming parents.
Michelle, I am happy to hear that both of your children are healthy and robust. I would have never thought to see a chiropractor for a baby – thank you for the suggestion!

Congrats! I can ask a few friends in town there if they know of a good naturopath or osteopath. I’d be very wary of an MD as they are super pushy with the vaccines and can make things more stressful than it’s worth it!

Hi Rachael. I am definitely interested to see if anyone has more to say on this thread. We moved down to Southwestern VA (in Floyd county) from the DC area to start homesteading and find like-minded families. We are finding some of those, and may be getting some momentum to start our own homeschool co-op for freedom-minded families. Not long…

Unless you find that one in a million pediatrician who isn’t really an MD, but just has the letters and does Naturopathy or something, there isn’t anything good about medical care 🙂
I would recommend a chiropractor that adjusts neonates. Added super bonus if s/he can come to your home. Those first few days can be a wild ride and an adjustment… -

Pediatrician Recommendations: Austin, Texas
Greetings Alfa Vedic Community!
Long time listen, first time caller (writer). My wife and I are expecting our first child soon, and I am trying to do my part to find quality medical care. If anyone happens to know of a great pediatrician in Austin, Texas (or surrounding area), your advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you to everyone…
