Raising Children 2 years agoI’m curious what everyone’s opinion is on past lives and how best to handle interesting things that come up when raising our littles.
As an example: Kai (4 years old) has taken it upon himself to start writing (names etc) and reading (only numbers so far). He naturally writes from right to left and reads right to left as well…

Raising Children 2 years agoPeace y’all! Parenting peace huh? Parenting can be so wild. Especially when raising our daughters and sons as sovereigns! But there’s definitely some solid guidance out there, here’s my favorite “wise grandma” talking her powerhouse stuff. And her book Raising our Children, Raising Ourselves is a constant return for my family. Anyone else…

I have not heard of this, but I look forward to watching this! I have my daughter full time this year for the first time in many years, and I’m learning from her more than she’s learning from me. I’m always on the lookout for new things to try with her

Ah. John Taylor Gatto is classic when looking for homeschooling resources and authors who spoke out about the system. He’s right up there with Joh Holt. I have that one in my library.
