Eliza,
Thanks for reaching out. Let’s start with the sprouts. My husband and I after many years finally reached a point of perfecting the kitchen sprouts, which often times in the winter takes the place of salad. We purchase only organic sprouting seeds and have several varieties: i.e. alfalfa, broccoli, power bean mix, and fenugreek. The…

Ask Deb 2 years agoHi Deb
First of all, I want to tell you how touched I was in August of 2022 when you greeted me as I arrived at the farm for the I Am the Living Law weekend. Your warm “Hulda!” surprised me; I had no idea I was anywhere on your radar.

The first year I planted sunflowers to purify the dirt, then this year, I loaded it w earthworms, minerals, built a Home Depot bucket for composting, added worms and hand shoveled and brought horse manure to make sure my dirt was as good as possible. Then I did the electro culture…

Hi Amber, my apologies for the delayed response, as I’m still learning how to navigate the forum. It sounds like you’ve done an excellent job with your planting bed. Yes, bunnies can be tenacious, and we have hare-brained friends at the farm as well. We have a number of different sized havahart cages for different…

Hi Dynese
Welcome to my discussion group! So good to hear that you’re contributing to the domestic cultivation of Jiao Gu Lan. It is a lovely vine, and fresh Jiao Gu Lan tea is the best. You’re definitely on track, by wintering it indoors. The recovery can be expedited with a simple seed mat to assure proper warmth if necessary, and be…

Hello Deb!
So happy to be here and connect with you. I have three small jiaogulan plants. I did not transplant them in a timely manner and they began to die. I brought them inside and they are coming back to life. I will plant them into the ground next year. I’m in zone 9B. Do you have any suggestions for their care please?
Thank…
