Let’s move to the Land! 4 months agoAnyone in California. How do you do it? I know @alfawarrior and @barre are there. I grew up there but left in 2008. I’m currently in Florida but want to move. We just visited California. Grass Valley/Nevada City and Truckee. We are missing the mountains.
We would go to California in a heartbeat if it wasn’t for all the politics…2 Comments-

I’m with you Jenny. We are looking to move to. I have 2 teenage sons and worry about them finding friends (including girlfriends) and community. We want the nature but how far out is too far? Best of luck to us both.

Hi friends, does anyone have any suggestions when it comes to looking for land? Like besides hopping on Zillow where should I begin? I’m completely new to all of this since I’ve never purchased property before. I’m especially curious about ways to enter into private agreements for buying land if that is a thing.
I’m specifically looking into…

we’ve been using https://land.com for Music & Sky research. And yes, if you can setup a contract with the seller, you can do the entire purchase in the private without a mortgage. I know of some peeps who have done this…even setting up a private payment plan that took place of their mortgage.
