I was blessed to own 3 amazing homes; the first was a 1730 gatehouse and farm! I’ll post a pic when I can locate it 🙂 The two 1880 Victorian buildings have been rentals and the last 2 I have lived in since CV 2020. I somehow got the front two stories of it; including a 40′ sewn solid oak turned staircase…I need to take some pics soon,…

What a great find. This is absolutely incredible! I couldn’t figure out where this is located? Is it MX? I want to go; I’m dreaming awake that we can organize a trip from our membership! 🌳🏕️☘️🪴🪵

I know these sorts are a dime a dozen on YouTube but this one does actually feel AV, and the ways he used ash/lye/rock/tiles as building materials was good, they are humorous and I appreciate their vision to help young adults enter adulthood with mentorship…so it seemed like a nice oeuvre of inspiration to store here for safe keeping 🙂
By now…

Let’s move to the Land! a year agoHi Everyone—I’m new to this group 😀 👋🏻. Still living in the mainstream, but beginning to develop a two year plan to transition. Wondering what anyone does about mitigating atmospheric sprayed chemicals when farming—maybe greenhouses and water filtration? Thank you 🙏🏻😀

Such a great question. There was a great talk both days of the Ear Eyes summit – with suggestions such as putting magnets in the bottom of yogurt collected water (metal bowl) switching it around to structure the water and pulling metals to the bottom.
Last night I went pretty deep (lol) into this
– I’ve attached a book to show just how deep…

That’s Clear Skies summit / I’ll have to circle back with links –
And as for the book..the attachment isn’t zipped (sorry for my phone computing!) so I’ve put it in creepy technocratic Dropbox – but like I said: it was the unlikeliest of places to come to this Geoengineering/gardening realization…

Let’s move to the Land! a year agoAnyone around central Ohio creating this type of community ?

Hi Lisa! I’m in Lewis Center and don’t have a group but trying to do some stuff on my own w local farmers. We are trying to find land away from columbus because it’s planned to be the largest 15 min city. Which probably will take it close to Mt Vernon or something.
I have an acre at a farm in Lewis center letting me farm there and rebuild the…

Lisa, this may or may not be what you’re looking for, but have you heard of Aberlin Springs? It’s an intentional agri-community near Cincy. The Rogue Food Conference will be there Sept. 2025. https://aberlinsprings.com/

Let’s move to the Land! a year agoI am taking a spontaneous trip to the big island from the 19th to the 28th. I would love to see the alpha vedic farm!
And meet up with anyone who’s over there 🙂

We came very close to a spontaneous trip there as well. Late Jan. to early Feb. We used to live there and are missing it. Would like to move back someday.
Have you been before? Big Island has so many great places.

Let’s move to the Land! a year agoHello there!
My husband and I moved to Mc Ewen, TN(60 mi west of Nashville) 18 months ago from the Denver area. We have a start on our homestead, but find we are lacking like-minded community here. We also miss the mountains as we spent a great deal of time there in Colorado. We are checking out some areas of east/central TN as an option…

This part of TN is definitely on our radar. Knoxville to Johnson city to Asheville NC. Beautiful.
Prices have gone up since we started keeping it on the radar a few years ago. We are currently in Jacksonville FL. We intended to move to north central Florida into the country but it just didn’t line up. We moved from Utah and we are also…

Hey Judy, I’m moving to Nashville area this coming spring/summer in 2025. I’ll also be seeking like-minded community. I know Nashville isn’t east TN but good to know they’ll be good folks in the general vicinity!
