Alcohol and metformin can both cause b vitamin deficiencies, particularly, but not limited to, thiamine. Thiamine deficiency can cause such issues in the feet. I see that no one replied to your concern about burning/tingling sensation in feet. My boyfriend has similar issues with his feet. He says it feels like he is walking on glass. I have used vitex with great results. I have used maca before also but have some doubts about whether it’s actually beneficial- it only seems to have effects while I’m taking it, like a drug
