Kev, one thing I know about land patents is that patetened land cannot be put into a trust, as land patents are for the wo/man. Only the equitable interest (i.e. excluding what may be owed on a mort-gage) of a real property can be put into a trust.

I would love to model after AV, if any members are ever in that area, there is a free place to land and lay their head at night if need be. The local populace there is not quite awakened yet but the momentum is building.

It is about 30 acres not far from the Elvis superhighway in North Mississippi between Tupelo, MS and Memphis, TN. I currently live fairly close to Galts Landing and really love this area too.

Yes, seems this is where a lot of like-minded people are pivoting towards, I have some land/houses 12 hours from where I live in Florida that I am pontificating on a concept (friend den) similar to kin domains with a CoOp feel. I am hoping to learn more about land patents soon.

Wow Hugh, this is a ton of what looks like useful information. As for mortgages, insurance companies aren’t writing policies these daze, at least not in California. Any suggestions there? I’ve thought of creating a bond, but that’s way more advanced than I’m at, at the moment.
